FELICITATION OF SAFAI KARAMCHARIS

As a healthy practice of the college, felicitation program of Safai Karamcharis was organized at Govt. SPMR College of Commerce. The program was held as a mark of showing gratitude to cleanliness staff for their contribution for keeping the college clean. The appreciation is a kind of psychological incentive for all the human beings to work better and with dedication. The chief Guest on the occasion, Principal Dr. Surinder Kumar Sharma expressed his gratitude that they are the people who keep the college surroundings neat and hygienic. To provide their services, they come early and make the campus ready for the start of the day. He further added that they are the real warriors who have given their services even at the tough and deadly time of covid. All the Safai karamcharis Mr Kabir, Mr. Rinku, Ms Anjelina, Ms Neelam, Ms Hafeeza, Ms Bobby, Mr. Sunny and Ms Raj Begum were garlanded and were felicitated with Momentos and Gifts. Prof Savita Jamwal also expressed her views that they should provide their services irrespective of allotted areas and work in unison. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Deepak Pathania said that all the cleanliness staff work as a team and involve themselves in activities such as segregation of waste, compost making and proper disposal of solid waste. She further added that all should respect them as they are the indispensable workforce who clean the mess created by other which is indeed a difficult to do for any human being. The faculty members should cooporate in making the things easy and not difficult for them. All the Safai Karamcharis and staff members enjoyed eatables and tea thereafter. Mr. Rinku and Mr. Sunny made the occasion lively by singing songs. The whole program was coordinated by Prof Savita Jamwal, Dr. Monika Malhotra, Prof. Deepshikha Sharma and Dr. Deepak Pathania. The proceedings of the program were conducted by Prof Apfan Ali.
