Culmination of week long Microsoft certified training program in phython

week-long Python course certified by Microsoft India concluded at BCA Department of SPMR College of Commerce under the aegis of IQAC in collaboration with District Employment and Counselling Center Jammu today. About 50 students participated in the course.Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Singh was chief guest on the occasion. The course was conducted as part of Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by Microsoft India Corporation.Mrs. Rajni Thakur, senior IT trainer (Education) was the resource person for the course, under the supervision of Prof. Monika Mahajan, Head, Department of Computer Applications.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal of the college Prof. (Dr.) Rajinder Singh encouraged the students to become good listeners and make use of every opportunity to improve their skill set. Noting that this course was an excellent initiative by the BCA department, he lauded the efforts of Prof. Monika Mahajan and her team, and hoped that more such programmes would be conducted in the future to provide opportunities to students to make them at par with their peers in the rest of the country.
Earlier the programme started with welcome address by Prof. Monika Mahajan, whereas a vote of thanks was given by Dr. Bharti Rana. The programme was compered by Ms. Mehak of BCA Semester 6, while report of the proceedings of the course was read by Ms. Shruti Pandita of BCA Semester 6. Feedback on the course was given by Rahul Sharma, Sneha Raina and Raghunandan Khajuria. Among those present on the occasion included Prof. Pawan Gupta, Dr. Reena Rani, Prof. Ashraf Nawaz, Dr. Vipul Chalotra, Mr. Ravi, Prof. Sangeeta, Prof. Bharti and Prof. Aman. Mamta Sharma, Navdeep Kour and Anjali Pandey from the District Employment and Counselling Center Jammu were also present on the occasion.
