In a vibrant display of patriotism and community spirit, the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce organised a series of engaging and impactful events as part of 77th Independence Day Celebrations. The celebrations were marked by a signature campaign, a motivational lecture, and a series of community-driven initiatives, including a cleanliness drive and a plantation drive.
The celebrations began with a compelling signature campaign, where participants expressed their commitment to upholding the values of freedom and democracy. This initiative encouraged citizens to pledge their support for national progress and unity. Following this, a motivational lecture by SUO Sahil Sharma inspired attendees with powerful messages about perseverance, service, and the importance of contributing to society.
In the spirit of fostering environmental responsibility, the NCC organised a comprehensive cleanliness drive. Concurrently, a plantation drive was conducted, during which numerous saplings were planted to enhance green cover and combat climate change.
Adding a historical dimension to the celebrations, an educational lecture on freedom fighters was delivered by JUO Sukhchain. The session highlighted the courageous efforts and sacrifices of those who fought for India's independence, providing a deeper understanding of the nation's rich history and inspiring a renewed sense of pride and respect among participants.
