ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR BACHELORS FOR COMMERCE (B.Com.) :
1 | The admission schedule is announced every year containing detailed information and is published in the local newspaper much earlier than the start of admissions. |
2 | The College is introducing Online Admission from this session 2014-15. |
3 | Students seeking admission in B.Com. Part 1 shall submit application form online after the purchase of the prospectus from the college. |
4 | On receipt of applications, selection lists shall be drawn on the basis of merit (percentage of marks obtained in class 12th ) |
5 | The merit list of the candidates selected shall be put on the college notice board as well as uploaded on College website. |
6 | Students belonging to the reserved categories as listed in SRO 126 dated 28-06-1994 shall get additional weight age of 5% marks. |
7 | The selected candidates shall then submit the printout of the already submitted online admission form duly signed by the parents or guardian. |
8 | The form along with the bank draft may then the submitted to the college office on or before the expiry of the last date, notified separately. |
9 | The applicants, who do not submit the admission form with all the requisite certificates attached therewith and do not deposit the fee within the time limit prescribed, shall be dropped from the merit list the next meritorious applicants shall be considered for admission. |
10 | It is mandatory for the student to mention the Unique Code (printed on the cover page of the prospectus) on the Application Form as well as on the Bank Draft. |
Note :
a) Subject to availability of seats, a second and third merit list shall be put up.
b) The principal reserves the right to accept or reject any application deemed not fit for
admission without assigning any reason.

♦ Admissions to all seats are made directly by the college on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR MASTERS IN COMMERCE (M.Com.) :
♦ Admission to the course is made by the university through Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET). It is an entrance test conducted by Jammu University and accordingly students are allocated to the college.
